Total Home Gym Exercises

Buying a Total Home Gym offers real value for your money. However, once you've bought the gym, it's important that you get started with the right exercises that suit your needs and the gym itself.

Total Gym models let you do a number of different exercises. Most models enable you to do perform over 60 exercises. Although your gym would come with an exercise video and booklet included which you can use to try various exercise combinations, you may also want to try the following exercises to keep in great shape.

If you want to exercise your lower abs and the back, try the twister exercise. To perform a twister, sit on the board and hold the pulley in your hand. Set the equipment to the maximum resistance available and pull to one side and then to the other. Repeat this at least 10 times.

You can also try the leg bull. Lie down on the board with your legs pointing up. Hold the pulley with your legs and pull yourself towards the top of your home gym using your legs alone. As before, do this 10 times.

To shape your upper back and biceps, do the seated row. Lock your arms on the pulleys while sitting at the top of the board. Now, use you arms to pull yourself towards the top of your gym. You will be able to feel this exercise having an effect on your back and biceps.

Finally, try the arm pullover exercise. Lie on the board and pull your knees towards your lower body. Grab the pulleys with your hand and pull yourself towards the top of the board. This works absolute wonders for your triceps, back and lower abs.

Do the above exercise regularly and with conviction and I promise you that your body will be in the greatest shape it has ever been. You'll be getting the most out of your Total home gym and you'll be keeping fit and healthy all the time.
